I Know You Love Me...

I recently had the honour of attending a dear friend’s memorial service. It has been difficult to think of his passing and the void his death has created in this world. He was a powerful force for love and understanding. I always enjoyed my time with him.

The last time I visited him, we exchanged a special moment of what I call “soul talk” – I felt deep within me that he knew I loved him and that he knew I knew he loved me. There was a special connection that will forever be carved into my heart. I am so very grateful...

Knowing he was ill and the possible outcome always left me questioning my own health and commitment to my journey. He was an inspiration right till his last days... believing in the power of the contribution he made and seeing the evidence of his love in the lives of his family and friends, those he worked with and those he supported.

His passing is a reminder to me... Do the people I love know it? Do they know I love them? Are there people in my life who are still waiting for me to connect and let them know I love them? Are there relationships that need to be healed?

One thing I know for sure... I can see the signs of love all around me and I am determined to continue to see the evidence of love in each moment of my life.

I know you love me... because I love you...

Today I...
Appreciate the love in my life...
Express my love with ease...
Love you exactly as you are...
And so it is.
